DC restaurant recs for tonight?
An old friend and myself are looking to go out to dinner tonight. We want something fun and different than our typical chains in VA suburbia 
We are down for all types of food, India, Korean, Thai, American (maybe not Italian). Any recs for a great place to eat in DC that provides more of an experience than the run of the mill stuff?

If you can get a reservation, Rasika is fantastic. Zaytinya is another idea (middle eastern mezze) that might be difficult to get into but is worth a try. Other ideas (american) are poste, proof and coco sala.
Not in DC, but I've heard HoneyPig in Annandale is a cross between korean bbq place & a dance club.
agree with PP...also Buddha Bar, that place is just SEXY.(Sushi, asian fusion food)
if that is too much try Ping Pong Dim Sum....a little chainy but still fun.
SEI Sushi is good too (wasabi gucamole)
zaytinya, brasserie beck, and oyamel are some of my favorites (and i've gone to beck and oyamel without reservations)
in/near logan circle i really like bar pilar, policy (they have happy hour til 7 on saturdays) and teak wood.
