update to my update
I feel like such a AW with all my posts but I want to keep you ladies updated. Sorry if this is TMI... While I was at work today I started bleeding pretty heavily. DH called my OB and took me into the hospital at 5pm. we're just getting home at midnight. They did a sonogram and still found an empty gestational sac but it's grown to 7 week. My levels went up even more between yesterday and today... I'm at 20,000+ now. However they feel that it's a miscarriage b/c there isn't a baby in the sac. While at the hospital the bleeding and cramping completely stopped. DH and I aren't convinced with what the hospital is telling us but not b/c we're in denial but b/c we know it's possible to not see anything in the sac until 10 weeks sometimes. The hospital said to still go for my scheduled bloodwork tomorrow and to call my doc to set up an appointment for Monday or Tuesday and until then I'm on bed rest.
We did find out though that my blood type is A- which means I'm RH- and my baby is probably RH+. That's not good. They ended up giving me a shot of RhoGam which is supposed to help my negative blood cells from making antibodies that would attack the baby who probably has positive blood cells.
So I'm still scared and nervous and confused. Hopefully we'll find out more when I see my doctor next week. I'm so thankful to have you ladies to vent to and to pray for me when times get tough! Please know I truly Appreciate it!
