Re: Baby names clicky poll

  • If we liked the names separately and it was more coincidence, sure. But we wouldn't purposefully do it.

  • I agree with PP, that if we liked the names separately we would.  When thinking of names for the twins I really liked the name Amelia, but DH said no because Abby;s name started with an A and he didn't want the names real matchy matchy.  I know several people who have named their children with all the same letter.  I think it's cute for other people, but wouldn't do it myself.  Although, if we had had boy/girl twins I wanted to name them Zack and Zoe cause I like both names and thought they sounded so cute together!
  • Ditto, If I liked the names, sure, why not! :)

  • Our girls' names will start with the same letter, but it wasn't done on purpose...it just happened to be what we agreed upon. If we have a 3rd, we don't plan on making sure s/he has a "T" name.

  • I know I've posted this before, but my MIL's siblings are Jim, John, Jeri, Judy, Jan, Jackie, Juli. And their middle names all start with L. DH and his sibs are Pat, Paul, Megan, and Michael. MIL wanted them to be Pat, Paul, Percy, and Pamela, but FIL put his foot down. I think it can be cute, but it's definitely NMS.

  • We already have, but not on purpose. Logan was going to be Gracie if he was a girl. Since this will be our last baby, I'm more purposely going to pick a L name so that this child doesn't feel left out. We get a lot of comments from strangers and extended family about the L theme, but I don't care anymore. It's not their problem, they don't have to deal with it.
Finally a Mrs as of June 7, 2008

If you have another little girl you could name her Lucy :-)  I think it sounds really cute with Lily.  We had to have an L name after my grandfather and I liked Lucy but DH vetoed it.
