GAP stores closing

http://search.yahoo.com/search?cs=bz&p=Gap+closing&fr=mail-tts&fr2=ps

I wonder if they are just closing the stores or if it's outlets too.  I just went to one over the weekend and got jeans for my nephew.  They are the ONLY store that has 12-18 month jeans.  Everywhere else has 12 or 18 months and he's in between right now (yeah even though he's almost 18 months lol).

Re: GAP stores closing

  • Boo!  Hope it's not the outlets.  I could care less about the store.  I think they have gradually become really overpriced... but the outlets have some killer deals!!

This is because gap and old navy are owned by the same people.  I wouldn't go to the store because they are too expensive but the outlets can have some good deals.  Thanks though.  Not like I plan on getting many things for my nephew anyway.  I'm just going on what my sister told me.  She usually shops carter and osh kosh.

  • I know.. the url is oldnavy/gap.. you said there was nowhere else that has 12-18m sizing though.. those were just off the top of my head
  • This makes me so sad...I LOVE the Gap...

Oh and Dar~ if you go to Baby Gap they always have sales...and they turn over their season so quickly- i usually can get good deals and of course their outlet store in Rotterdam is good too...(however, I think the sale prices at baby gap are sometime just as good as the outlet price...and trust me, I go there A LOT...LOL)

Thanks.  I don't get a ton of stuff from there but with my nephew being kind of in between sizes it helps.  12 month pants fit around the waist but are too short and 18 month pants are too big on the waist but have the right length.  He'll be 18 months next week so I guess he's just tall and skinny lol.

well you also want to look for the adjustable waist bands...Enzo has the same problem- he needs 2t for length but not the waist - so I buy the adjustable...(which most gap and od navy are)
