New to Nest
Hi all, I am newish to The Nest. I started reading/replying to posts and realized I should probably introduce myself. I used The Knot quite a bit although I didn't post as much as I should have. I am changing that this time! 
My husband and I were married on April 2 in DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Yes, that was the day there was sleet, rain and sun. The timing was perfect when we were doing pictures and there was no one around the Title Bason when we get there!
We live in Burke but I commute into DC (GWU) everyday. I realized recently how lonely I am here and am looking for friends. Yikes, that sounds pitaful... I am up for walking groups, girls nights, someone to commute with and of coarse posting as much as I can. I am excited to get to know all of you!

Hey! I LOVE crafting! I am a new blogger to a personal and craft blog so that has taken up quite a bit of time. There is so much to learn! I am a MaryKay consultant but haven't really branched out yet. I am also on the Agricultural Review Board for Burke. I am getting ready for my husband to deploy for a few months and have been spending as much time with him as possible.
