Just stopped by. We got home from Costco and I made brownies that are in the oven. I've got soup and rolls to make today and maybe a coffee cake for work tomorrow.

doggie is fine....killing time right now while the rice cooks so we have have a late-lunch.
here's my recap i posted on fb:
Very good news from the ER vet. He has a very large/hard lump and we/regular vet thought it might be that he swallowed something. ER vet says it's just a "regular" tumor (he has a lot) and we can go either way to remove it or not. She said EVEN IF this one is malignant, it won't spread to anything vital, and this will not be what gets him in the end. If we choose not to remove it (I think this is our decision right now), we just watch it. If it bothers him to where he chews on it or if it gets bigger/attaches to something (right now it's just on the skin), then we should get it removed. But for now, he's overall still pretty healthy for his age.

Jenn -- Glad puppy is ok! We've spent way too much time at the doggie ER, and even if it turns out ok, it's still so draining (and expensive).
Should go to costco today, but i hate it there on the weekends. Should also mow the lawn... but i'm researching 1920s fashions before thrift store shopping for halloween costumes (dh just needs a hat and a bowtie, which i probably won't find there, but i need a dress to alter, or maybe fabric and a pattern...).

We're hanging around the house. I have short ribs in the crock pot and bread going in my bread machine. We're talking about going to the gym...but it seems like a lot of work.
Oh, that's good that your dog is more or less ok and it isn't severe. He's cute.
I've been cleaning the house today while D works (or naps as the case is right now), thawing out wings for dinner and some pork to make char siu from. It's a lazy, grey sort of day. Kind of wanted to hit up Ballard Farmer's Market but now it's too late. Sad.
I made homemade pho on Friday~ it was super yummy. We also had wedding cake for lunch cause I was too lazy. :P
Been marathoning Gilmore Girls all week and finally almost done with season 3.
