We had a good weekend. I almost finished a project for a friend of mine who's having a baby and I bought fabric for a bunch more project. There's a lot of gestating going on amongst my friends right now, and in the spring I will need a lot of baby presents so I'm getting started early. I spent more on fabric than I should have since we're saving to replace our big computer, but I rationalize it by convincing myself that making beautiful baby things is less expensive than buying them.
All of that is a roundabout way of saying that my exciting plans for the week include a lot of sewing. And watching my kid more carefully, since he managed to unfold an entire basket full of laundry while I was tidying up the living room this afternoon.
We had a wonderful weekend. We got some stuff done in the yard yesterday and just spent some quality time together. Today I went to Davis and had brunch with some friends from high school. We had a wonderful time. I came home, did some laundry and then did some laundry and took a nap. Its been a really good weekend!
This week we don't have much going on. E has school 3 nights this week and then Friday we are heading up into the foot hills to go camping with his parents. We are going to some Crystal Caves and get to "mine" crystals! I'm excited.
I'm more excited for the 29th though. We going to Disney on Ice!!!
I'm really, really excited for this week.
Tomorrow I'm going to Richmond with my mom for the day. Thursday I'm hopping on a plane headed to California for Blizzcon 2011! Nerdfest!

I did nothing useful, and now I am cramming a research rough draft out... awesome.
Procrastination at it's finest.
And the Lions lost... I am grouchy.
Oh, and that insanity with the coaches after!
Oh man... I was like "way to keep it classy guys". Ugh. This isn't Jr High.
I really hope that this doesn't spiral them into a losing streak. They can play better than they did. *Sad*
I have work, school, and a party to do! I'm so excited for it.
I'm currently finalizing my menu for the party and watching a PBS special on cemeteries on Instant Netflix. Wheeeee Halloween!
I'm doing my homework (reading Daniel Deronda) after a busy weekend at the pumpkin patch and outlet mall. Before I go to bed tonight I need to register for Spring classes.
This week should be interesting. H is getting a vasectomy tomorrow, and I either have class or after-work meetings pretty much every day all week. Hopefully he'll feel up to taking care of the kids pretty quickly.

The weekend went by so quickly!
Have fun! I have a ton of friends going... two of which work for Blizzard. It always seems like such a fun thing to go to, even if you're not into gaming and all that.
(edit: that was in reply to maryboo247 going to Blizzcon... newbie still getting used to quote vs reply lol)
I have next Sunday off and I'm so bummed! I wanted to watch football with H at our local dive/sports bar/our Cheers and the Eagles have a bye! Lame! So we might just run around doing errands, maybe a Costco date, and probably go to a movie.
I know, the weekend flew by! H's mom and sister were here and helped us a little with our apartment.
This week is kind of blah. H starts TBS tomorrow so he'll be busy. I'll be home working on the apartment and running some errands. Fingers crossed I get to start work next week, I'm already getting bored without it.
I had a very busy weekend. I ran in a 5k on Saturday and the spent the day/night at a football party. Super fun. I ate and drank way to much. We skyped in H for part of the time so he could chat with everyone and see some of the game via computer to tv. It was interesting.
This weekend I am headed out of town again for one of my college friends bachelorette party.
We had a pretty busy weekend that flew by as well. As for this week I have a Bowling Event on Wes with other spouses which I am looking forward too.
I have an interview tomorrow that has my brain occupied at the moment.
