would u see cowboys n aliens?
DH wants to go see it tonight, and I am not excited. I think it will be pretty dumb. The only reason I will sit through it is for the popcorn 
We might even do a double feature and watch The Change Up after that! I think that movie looks cute, so hopefully its worth putting up with the first one to watch the second. (cheap theater)
Do you have to compromise with your DH's about movies?
DH almost always likes action/sci fi and I am more into romantic comedies, but he will sit through almost any movie for me, and I for him. We love the movies

At this point in my life, I'd sit thorough anything with a cowboy in it
but really, that sounds like a terrible movie.
XH would always want to watch horror films or some dumb movie about the world ending and never would watch what I wanted. We rarely watched/went to movies.
DH and I have a movie rating system:
Theater Movie: this is a movie with a load of special effects, a great story and is well worth seeing on the big screen or in 3D. AVENGERS BABY YEAHHHHHHH
Chinese DVD Man Movie: this is a movie that we would have liked to have seen in theaters, but the effects wouldn't have been worth it. So we'll pay ?2 for it from the Chinese DVD man. What's your Number is a Chinese DVD Man movie. As is The Inbetweeners.
Downloader: These are films that we can't be bothered to pay for, but wouldn't mind seeing.
Wait for the TV version.
Cowboys and Aliens is one we are really torn about. Is it a Theater Movie or a Downloader Movie?????

We bought it and watched it at home. It's boring. There is not enough alien action!
I will watch almost anything once, and I prefer to watch movies in the cinema (if we can afford it, LOL!).
I really liked it, it was much better than I thought. But, I would say it could be a downloader! I enjoyed it in the theater, but I would have been upset if I paid full price for it. We went to a discount theater

I have seen it. It was pretty fun tbh. However, DH and I get free movie tickets from his work and that's the main reason I agreed to it. He does see a lot of chick flicks for me too though so I think it's nice to see what he wants to see when he has a strong desire to see it. We are big movie buffs like you and your DH seem to be!
