If you have a minute, could you do a huge favor for me? We are having a "sprinkle" next month and created a registry at BRU. Would you mind looking it over and seeing if there's anything obvious I'm missing, or anything you would recommend having more of that I don't have on there?
Some things we already have or I know I still need to add:
*have 1 rock and play
*need to add a pack & play for downstairs (if we move)
have 1 boppy
have 2 bath seats/plus infant tubs
*want a twin nursing pillow, not available at BRU
have 2 travel size swings, 3 bouncers (one for grandma's)
have a TON of receiving blankets
have about 12-15 bottles... how many is a good #, considering I'm hoping to BF?
have 2 infant car seats with winter covers
have a DSNG plus a triple stroller
have 1 bumbo
have 1 jumperoo, 1 exersaucer
have 2 play mats
Okay twin experts (or anyone else who wants to help!)... what do you think? I feel like there's a handful of super expensive stuff and not much else! But I can't for the life of me think of what else we'll need other than clothes and furniture.
Thank you SO much! ![]()
Re: **Ranger and Colleen**
Butting in...
Since you mentioned wanting a twin nursing pillow, I recommended checking Zulily often. They've had Brest Friend pillows several times in the last few months, including the twin pillow, for 50% off. I have a boppy, but I scored a single Brest Friend for $25.

Thanks Nicole! I'll check that one out. I've been eyeing the EZ2 Nurse Twin pillow, but I'll keep an eye out
Melissa, the stuff on the list in my original post I already HAVE at home... except for the 2 or so things I put 'need to add' next to.
I know there is one infant carseat on the registry and I said we already have 2... but I need to make sure one of them is up to snuff before I take the other off. It's from my sister so I know it's only been used for 8 months and no accidents, but I just haven't had a chance to comb over it yet.
I appreciate any/all help!
Our crazy, wonderful life
I got the EZ2Nurse... it seems more sturdy than the My Brest Friend, but if it's much more expensive I can't say it's worth it since I haven't used it yet.
I assume you already have 1 high chair. Will N be old enough to not need it anymore when the twins both need it?
Also, any reason you're not getting two Bumbos? I'm sure Melissa can chime in about it but my friend with twins used both all the time so I got two.
I'm not sure about the bottles. I only have 6 right now. I plan to EBF at first and then I want to see which bottles they like best after introducing them before I stock up on one brand.
I have a question for you now... I only got one playmat. I figured they could share at first and then take turns when they're bigger. Do you think I should get another?

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
I'll just tell you what we couldn't survive without:
2 RnPs
PnPs
2 swings (we had the big cradle papsan ones that they loved, they hated the travel swing we had)
2 bouncy seats
2 Boppy pillows
DSNG (until I got my BJ City Select)
2 Car seats
2 Bumbo seats
6 Miracle Blankets... loved these!!!
That's really about it. We already had one of everything so I didn't need or use much else.
