The Secret Circle 10/13

Did I miss a thread on it already?

I cant believe they killed one of the circle off so quick.  I haven't read the books, so I dont know if that follows them, but I was really surprised.  I liked Nick too.  Poor Melissa, she went through the ringer in this episode.

Im really liking this show so far!

Re: The Secret Circle 10/13

  • I liked Nick too and the Melissa story line. Didn't read the books either and these type of shows are so not what I watch but I love the guy that plays Diana's dad and Diana's boyfriend is also very easy on the eyes.
  • I didn't watch the episode till today but in my google reader yesterday I saw the eonline headline that said something about a death of one of the circle.  So I actually knew someone was going to die but going in, I thought it was going to be Melissa or one of the girls.  I think it is kind of weird that the killed off one of only 2 guys.  So they are now down to 1 guy and 5 girls.  How are they all going to date each a la 90210 and Gossip Girl?! lol

I'm glad Cassie told her Grandma though.  I don't see this ending well for Grandma (I'd almost bet that something happens to her before the end of the year) but it was nice to see one of the adults do something good.

  • I actually thought they would have killed off the grandmother before one of the circle. It doesn't make sense for one of the circle to die off.  I wonder if he is going to be brought back to life somehow?  Or if eventually another character will move into town and take his place?  Just seems weird to have an "imcomplete" circle.

  • What confuses me is they keep talking about their parents being the original circle. Well there would be 12 parents.... way more than 6 unless they were all siblings.

Is there going to be a new member of the circle now?

This confuses me as well.  My one theory was that they said something like "a complete circle is 6" but maybe they can have more?  You just need 6 for a miniumum?

But that doesn't seem quite right either.  It seems like at one point them mentioned that there were 6 families so if their parent's circle was 12 people, then they would all have to be from the same 6 families.  So a bunch of them would have been brothers and sisters? But that doesn't seem right because then the current circle would be cousins and stuff, right?

So maybe the parent's weren't all in the circle?  Maybe it was just 6 and their spouses just got involved some how at the end?
