Unintentional Registry Stalking
I went online today to one of my registries to make a couple of updates and noticed that there were a couple of items purchased.
I'm stunned because my showers are both in January. And now I feel bad because I really do try not to stalk the registries once invites go out....but that won't be until the last week of November at the earliest.
Should I just leave them alone now? Or do you think it's okay to keep modifying them as I need to, until the invites go out?
Re: Unintentional Registry Stalking
Honestly, I'm probably not the right person to reply b/c I am soooo guilty of registry stalking, but I think you should keep checking it once a week or something til invites go out b/c I noticed you have clothes and stuff that might be seasonal and change...at least that is the excuse I would use :-)
And it will still be a surprise when you open it if the gift is wrapped and you won't know who it is from!
I think it's okay to keep going back to them if needed. You never know, new products may come out, others may be discontinued, you may hear of something you want to add, there may be recalls that you need to switch something out, you may do more research on something and change your mind between items ... lot's of reasons that you may need to go back to them.
Yay, for gifts for firebaby already!

Thanks ladies! I was just kind of shocked and excited to see that. But then I got that really guilty feeling like I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar or something!
I mean, I know that our parents are buying our furniture, so I expect to see those items marked as purchased over the next couple weeks, but to see other items also purchased was a surprise!

um, registry stalking is one of my favorite hobbies. I have no shame
I did continue to make some minor updates after my invites went out - usually if I noticed a cheaper price at the other place (we did BBB and Amazon), I'd change that up, or if I thought of things I wanted. I probably stopped making additions a few weeks ago though because I didn't want to add something that someone had already bought and risk getting a duplicate because of it.
Who knows maybe they wanted to get first "dibs" on the stuff before the holiday season.
and it is ok to make changes.
