Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?  What's in store for this week?

Re: Happy Monday!

  • I had the best weekend, so much fun and so relaxing.

Friday, hubby came home from his trip to AZ, and I really missed him!  No "welcome home sexy time" because IL's came over and we went to dinner.  Womp Womp.

Saturday, I went to a baby shower for a good friend from college, she's having twin girls in December!  Can't wait!!

Sunday, I spent 3 hours at the spa doing a soak, mini facial and pedi.  It was awesome!!  Hubby went golfing and when he got back we went for a walk to enjoy the beautiful weather.  It was a perfect Sunday!

This week:  nothing really good planned...hopefully this week at work is easier than last week.  Last week was full of all kinds of drama...from students and adults!

    Happy Monday Girls!

  • Weekend was fun!  Tho I swear the Pats gave me an ulcer last night...

This week is super busy - on top of school I have 4 photo sessions, tons of editing to do, a conference tomorrow, then we are announcing to our families this weekend!  Immediate families this weekend then DH's cousin and sister next when we go up to Boston for our seasonal dinner night! Then I'm thinking it'll pretty  much be out!  PHEW!

Hope you ladies have a great week!

  • Weekend was good.  Saturday I ran errands and then met my parents to swap cars so mine can get fixed today.  Then DH and I went to dinner and came home to watch some DVR stuff.

Sunday I went with DH to do a pick-up for work and then we did a *very quick* run to the outlet mall while we were out there.  When we got home, DH had to go his normal Sunday run for work.  I stayed home to finish laundry and then we ordered pizza.  The best part....CARDS WIN!! The Cardinals are going to the World Series!  Woo hooo!!!!

I promised the girls at work that I would make treats if the Cards won over the weekend, so I will be making that tonight or tomorrow.  Wednesday and Thursday will be spent watching the World Series.  Today I am just trying to stay awake and get rid of my headache.

  • Happy Monday everyone!

I had a pretty nice, although busy and away from home most of the time, weekend!

Saturday DH, kids and I took my 5 yr old bowling, and we had a buffer lane between us and the others nearby, and my  nephew managed to get so excited he hauled his ball into the neighbor's lane!! I felt bad but the people weren't real upset. He didn't knock anything down so they just reset their turn. Later we went to a party for a friend of DHs and I had way too much fun :-( I fortunately drank a ton of water, took some B vitamins before sleeping and felt halfway ok in the am.

Sunday I went dress shopping with Brenna and two other BMs for our dresses. I was glad it was a 45 min drive to start feeling ok and sip on my ginger ale. I felt better as we were busy trying dresses on. Brenna let us choose whatever style we want as long as it was available in the shade green she wants. I can't get the photo to load here or link bc I'm on my phone but it's syle 84629 in www.davidsbridal.com in Clover if you want to check it out. It fit me perfectly and I might not even need any alterations! Yay!

I am still exhausted from overindulging and can't wait to get back to bed tonight. We have a company manager's meeting tomorrow so I won't be around here much if at all.  Brenna is having a housewarming party Saturday but other than that not much is happening this week.

  • My weekend was pretty good.  My mom was so surprised with the anniversary gathering on Sunday.  She was getting a little upset earlier in the weekend because they hadn't gone anywhere but we made it all better on Sunday!

This week I am hoping to get my house looking decent!  I have so much cleaning to do but never any time to do it!  Thinking about taking some time off of work once we find out what we are having!

  • My weekend was great. Friday night we did nothing buy lounge and catch up on some DVR - Fringe is getting awesome!!!

Saturday I went and had breakfast with a friend, her boyfriend (who was actually my first serious bf in high school - but I am SUPER happy for both of them) and her 3-year-old niece. Then grocery shopping (ugh, I hate Walmart). Then I came home and made my appetizers for the beer & wine tasting. Didn't win, but they only had a few people doing the judging, and I was getting a LOT of compliments from people on my stuff.  It was a fundraiser for our town's fitness center, and they had a GREAT turn out! Then we had some friends over for some drinking and laughs.

Sunday I was up playing in a volleyball tourney by 9 am! And, it lasted until 4 pm! I am SO sore I can't even imagine how I'm going to play in our game tonight! I didn't get to watch the Lions game, but did see the score. Bummer.

This week is pretty normal with volleyball, work, and aerobic classes. I need to get some cleaning done. This weekend is seriously NOTHING going on! I am SO excited!!!!

  • Weekend was good!  For a change I got some R&R in, even with SD and her friend spending the night.  :)  Mike took the girls to a haunted house so I had dinner with my mom after meeting her at church.  She left for New Orleans yesterday for the week on a bus trip with a bunch of her friends from the widows club at church.

Sunday was a day of football, light errands and cooking, topped off with a big glass of sangria while I watched Nosferatu (and fell asleep, LOL).  Unfortunately it was NOT a good weekend for Detroit sports.  The Tigers were knocked out of the playoffs, which I will now be rooting for the Rangers in the World Series since they beat the team that beat the Yankees!  ;)  The Lions came up short, and Michigan got the crap stomped out of them by State.  But it was still nice to sit around and watch football all days long.

Not too much happening this week.  Mom will be home from New Orleans late Saturday night and I think I'm doing an apple orchard trip with my friend Jill and her girls. It's not our weekend with Amanda but I'm going to try and see if she wants to join us for a little bit anyway if she and her mom don't have any plans during the early afternoon.

It was SO close but San Fran managed to run the clock down enough to where they scored with less than 2 minutes left in the game, not giving us much chance to make the comeback.  :(
BUT.....did you see highlights of the Coaches' melee????  It was pretty awesome.  Harbaugh is a former Michigan guy so Mike likes him, but I told him "he's still the opponent."

  • We had an awesome weekend.

On Friday night we went to SD's school's homecoming football game. she goes to a small private school so there are grades 1-12 there. She is a cheerleader for the A-Team which is the football team for the 5 & 6th graders. SD cheeered during theior game & they even did a cool dance routine. I was super impressed. The night was even more intersting thatn I realized but more about that later.

On Saturday we went to the NC State Fair & had a blast! We spent the night at my aunt's house.

On Sunday we got up late & at brunch at a local restaurant in Chapel Hill, NC. Then we went (early) christmas shopping in Raleigh. SD had never been in a mall that big before. DH was a great sport about it. Insteadof lunch or dinner we had appitizers & cheesecake at The cheesecake factory. SD was thrilled with the whole day. She is going to get some great stuff for Christmas & her birthday.

    :)
