Grub near Key Arena?
H and I are going to the Death Cab concert this weekend and are planning to make it into a date night. Neither of us is familiar with the restaurants and food within walking distance of the Key (with the Viaduct to be closed, I'm hoping to park and then just walk where we need to) so if anyone has recs of places around there, I'd love to hear 'em!

We're going to a concert Friday at Key, and can't get reservations at most of the well known restaurants near there.

The 5 point is nearby and there is a Groupon right now. McMenamins is also right there (pub food and good beer). There is also a Thai place a couple blocks up from McMenamins (cannot find the name!), but I think it was kind of "meh"...
If you are in the mood for something casual there are a lot of places... You could park and walk around?
ETA - Buckley's is around there and pretty decent - but if you are going on a Saturday I bet they will have a big football crowd.

I'm not really a fan of the food at The Signature, but they do have a decent HH.

McMinnamins has great tater tots!
and amazing greyhounds with fresh squeezed Grapefruit juice
I now want a Ruby and some tots (and a greyhound!)
This was my first choice when I booked my concert tickets - I cant get a reservation
And for some reason I never think to try and go there when I'm not going to a show.

We tried to get reservations forever and when we finally did I was sick and couldn't eat much or taste anything =(

A little bit further of a walk : The Sitting Room. KILLER cocktails. (Do not have 4 organic agave margaritas or you will be on your a$$ like my cousin, lol!) Really romantic/kinda sexy decor in an understated French-ish lounge style.
Or have brauts and goodies in Renton
Totally would, but we'll likely be heading into Seattle at 4ish, but we'll finish with beer (and brats, if any are left) after.
