Did anyone see the Today show today? i was hoping she'd say she was pregnant...but she came out that while going through the IVF process the last time, she found she had early stages of breast cancer. it was only bc the doctor made her get a mammogram before going through the process taht it was found. how scary! can you imagine?
i feel so bad for this couple...i feel like they have gone through a lot. i can't imagine dealing with infertility and then finding out you have cancer. how horrible.

that is really sad. sounds like they caught it really early though.
That makes sense now because I follow Bethanny frankel and todays tweet had both of them tagged saying how to stay strong or something and I figured it had to do with infertility so I went and followed both Guliana and Bill and nothing was said.
Thank goodness the doctor checked. That is so much to endure for a couple but they seem strong together which makes a huge difference.
it was really eye opening...the fertility doc at the clinic they went to in Colorado made her get a mammogram bc he said that he would not get someone pregnant that has cancer bc it accelerates the cancer. she fought it, but gave in and they found it. she was on the Today show bc she wants to make sure other women start getting mammograms. i could almost feel her pain as she spoke...she seemed still very much in shock.
I feel for them for sure but I am hoping her body handles surgery and radiation well. She is so thin that I cannot imagine what would happen if she was super nauseated from the radiation.
