Are they making you do the GD test this time, too?
I'm driving down to PacMed on Beacon Hill (you know that big orange castley-looking building you can see from I-5?); my regular doc is part of their group, so it seemed easiest to have my medical files not get shipped around.
Even though it's kind of far-ish, I just schedule 'em so I can either drop my husband off at work before or pick him up after and it works out!
They deliver at Swedish 1st Hill, which looks really nice.
We went on a tour last year and liked it pretty well.

I've heard some really fabulous things about Evergreen! (One of my friends who delivered there tried to convince me to move over, even, haha.) Have you taken a tour yet?
Yeah, oof. I don't think they'd've told me about the GD test being next time if I hadn't asked this last time, tbh; the doctor was like, "Oh, yeah, that! You're scheduled to have that at your next appointment." Might be worth calling and making sure?
... And I'm nervous about it, too. :-/ I've had issues with hypoglycemia basically my whole life (and my mom has, too), and it can magically turn into diabetes sometimes... so the possibility has always scared me. :X
Here's hoping both of us pass the GD test with flying colours and nothing worse than a bad taste from the glucose drinks!
no, i haven't taken a tour..but a friend of mine gave birth there in may 2010..and being there with her pretty much convinced me (as well as reading reviews online).
i asked OB about the GD test i think the appt before last..i'm not too worried *when* it is, since i'm really not much of a sugar eater, so i'm not worried about skewing my results or anything.... i'll just let it happen when it does!!

Heh, that sounds like a much more thorough "tasting" of it than a tour would give! I'm glad you liked it!
I'm a bit of a sweets-fiend. :X So, er, haha. I ought to make sure I don't do something like eat a handful of M&Ms before walking out the door to the appointment or something.
I'm not Canadian; I'm just a Canada-fangirl.
That said, when we went up to Vancouver for the Olympics last year, DH and I both wore 'Canadian disguises'; we only saw Team USA play once and the Team USA stuff was so ugly, and the Team Canada stuff was so much cuter, so we bought Team Canada stuff instead and had a lot of locals b!tch about all the crazy Americans in town to us, haha. It didn't hurt that we were staying in a friend's apartment, so we were bussing to a residential district all the time instead of to/from a hotel.
