One of my student workers, a really great guy, knocked up his GF of 6 months.
On. Purpose.
They were TRYING. She is 18 and just out of high school.
He's going to propose to her soon.
This is the same guy about 2 weeks ago who didn't know if he wanted to get married.

Ditto. I think the situation (6 months of dating+uncertainty regarding marriage) more than their ages makes me sad. I hope they can make things work for the sake of their baby!

This just made me die laughing! I think it needs to be our official ::face palm:: picture.
Caitlyn, I agree with everyone else, the difference is while you are young, you are married and in a stable, committed relationship. For me, the problem in this whole situation is it sounds like these kids' relationship is pretty unstable and now they're adding a baby into it, that compounded with being so young is going to make it difficult.

ETA: and yeah, you girls are very right, which I guess is why I trust myself with my kid and give them the side eye lol
