Or for anyone who wants to talk about periods.

So yeah first period post partum. My body is having contraction flashbacks at night and they suck. Also omg heavy flow, I googled to make sure it was normal it was so much. But my Question is did you go back on a normal cycle after your first period or did it take time? I had wacky periods before milo was conceived (I had him in a 60 day cycle).

wish i could help you but i went back on the pill as soon as possible therefore a regular period. this baby factory is closed and i am not taking any chances. i can tell you that my periods are much worse now than prior to Anna

I have a very special rage about my post-baby aunt Flo. Still EBFing, no solids at all until six months, and mine arrived when he was four months old. It was a total crock.

And yes, mine is exactly the same, short luteal phase and all.

I forget when mine came back but it was somewhere around 9 months, when I started to combo feed more often. It was irregular for awhile and then settled down onto a clockwork pattern again. I think it took about 5- 6 months for it to get back to a predictable 30ish day cycle. I was on the bc pill for so long before I got pregnant that I don't remember if my old non-pill pds were the same as these new non-pill pds or not.

i am on week 2 of the ring...primary reason not for bc but to cut doen AF and the nasty symptoms that come along with her...fingers crossed

I didn't bf but my AF has been different since I had a baby. I have the same cycle but it's heavier. I also used to have KILLER cramps and now I don't but I do get weird labor type pains on the first day in my hips and outer thighs.

Ugh, I was still nursing both times when AF came back!

After Charlie, I had super heavy flow and crazy long cycles that were all over the place. I only had 2 pp AF's and then I got pg with Sam. I had been trying to chart to avoid, but gave up because my cycle was all over the place. Hello BFP!

With Sam, things were much easier because I went on the mini pill. So after a week or so of weirdness, it went back to normal

I managed to hold mine off until about 6 months. It's pretty much the same, not too heavy, no pain and I still become a raging biitch a week beforehand.

I haven't seen AF since Dec '09. Haven't BF in 6 wks+. Not preg but this post is making me think something is wrong.

good? there was some last minute issue with our loan because of one account goes on quarterly statements but it all worked out. i may sent the snarkiest email of my life to the loan officer when she basically called me an idiot because she wanted the most recent statement AND I WAS LIKE OMG IT IS THE MOST RECENT.

I stopped pumping around 6 weeks and didn't get af until 12 weeks. I hade to take a pg test because I was wondering why she hadn't shown up. The first one wasn't bad at all... it just never stopped. Serioulsy, I was still spotting until a little less than a week ago.
