Has your signature always said "sarcasm deserves its own font"?  I just noticed it this morning and really want to adopt that.  Time to adopt Comic Sans for an ironic use?  I need to come up with something snarky to say to test this out...

Re: **Pam**

  • It, has, for a while (I am to lazy to post a picture in my siggy, and/or to change my siggy very often).

My sister and I are two-handedly trying to come up with one (since neither of us has any graphic design background, "trying" is the key word here). Comic Sans starts to get there, but so many people use it un-ironically, it's not the solution -- yet.

And the Nest only offers us bold, italics, and underline as font options in our posts, so I fear my sarcasm often goes unnoticed here and folks just think I'm a ***. (which, well... Wink sometimes might be the case)

  • Gee, I must be super observant.

Oh, heh - perfect time to test this out.  Gee, I must be super observant.

I?m not above going back and forth into Outlook or Word to copy a different font in a particular time of need.  Especially on days when I really don't feel like focusing on work anymore :P  (Today, anyone?)

Playing with this I found that we have a dozen proprietary fonts at my company (when you include all the bold, italic, etc. versions) and they're all fugly.  If only I could adopt them as my sarcastic font...

  • My association program identity guidelines define our Font O' Choice as Times New Roman 11 (The Nest) all the time, baby.  Why, yes, it does bother me.

(but I learned something today that I never knew I cared about before -- that I could C&P from Word and the fonts would transfer -- I just asumed they would not.)

Watch out! Oh, I am going to be the crazy annoying poster now!

Yes good one, D! (although your post looks scarily like a ransom note!)
