Advocare Woolwich and Pediatric Gastro doctor recommen?
Hi Everyone!
We are moving to Swedesboro in a few days (YAY - FINALLY!) and we're looking for a great Pediatrician and Group for her - as WELL as a highly recommended Pediatric Gastro Doctor. She needs to see both doctors right away to catch up on her 2 year appointment, so I'm trying to get some recommendations so I can get her in soon!
I was researching Advocare Woolwich in Swedesboro - Does anyone have any thoughts and also on Dr. Ira LaVoe??
Any Ped. Gastro Recommendations? We were researching Dr. Andrew Grossman in Voorhees - he's a part of CHOP.
Please let me know if you can! Really need your help, would greatly appreciate it!!!

No info on the pedi, but we saw Dr. Sreedharan from CHOP for DD2s severe reflux & milk/soy allergy. He was really great. Just do you know, there's usually a wait to get into the CHOP Voorheese and CHOP Mays Landing offices, if you don't mind going into the city you can usually be seen sooner. If you call the main number they will be able to tell you which office has the earliest opening.
Parking @ CHOP in Philly is only $3, and it's $5 to get over the bridge now.

I am not on much anymore, but happened to check out the board and saw your post. Congratulations on your move! I believe you are referring to Advocare West Deptford, which has an office in Swedesboro (Beckett). We use them for our 2 year old son, and have been nothing but pleased. They were a big help when my son starting having troubles around 9 months old. They are a great group of doctors and nurses. We often try to see Nurse Practioner Eliza White or Dr. Erin Wright, but that is because they are the most familiar with my son's situation. Also, in reference to your inquiry about Dr. Grossman, he is WONDERFUL. He has been my son's GI for over a year. He is friendly, takes his time to answer your questions, and will respond to any questions or concerns you call with. I called with a question on a Thursday night, and did not expect a phone call from his office until Monday. However, hearing the distress in my voice, he personally called me back that very night. Usually, his secretary, Pam will respond to his voicemails. She's great, also. I am not in the Swedesboro, area, we live in Pennsville, but if you have any further questions or anything that I can help you with, please feel free to contact me. Good luck with the move!!!
Advocare Woolwich is separate from Advocare West Deptford. The Woolwich site is near CVS and the WD site is near Acme. Two totally different sets of doctors.
Also, I've got a few friends who take their kids to the Woolwich practice and are pleased with them. I use WD and haven't had any problems.

We use Advocare West Deptford and really like them.
It looks like you got a great rec here for a GI, but you can also consider AI Dupont as another option. We took DD there for her tubes and they were wonderful. No city traffic, no paying to park, etc. Just a nice experience. Not that CHOP isn't amazing, just throwing out another option.
we use woolwich advo and really like them. but we've only been there for check ups and general sick appointments, not anything more specialized.
