What did you do last time you played hookey?
You know, took a "mental health day" from work? Called in sick when you weren't really sick?
When's the last time you did it, and what did you do that day?
I last did it almost exactly a year ago (this weather is reminding me), and I went to a trendy bookstore, bought a book, then took it to the zoo and read it. (The whole thing.) Then I took myself to a Mexican restaurant.
I was married at the time, and I didn't even tell my XH what I had done that day. I was home by 5:30. It was my little secret, and I remember being really happy about it.

I am lame- haven't played hooky in a long time. The last time I remember doing it I was vacationing in Niagra falls with XH and called in sick on Monday so we could stay another day.
I never call in when I'm not sick, shame on you. I only do that if I am sick or sick and tired of working....LOL!
It depends. I might go to the movies. Go to a spa. Go to a museum. Lay in the bed with my man. Watch trash TV.

I'm actually doing this tomorrow. The ex and I have closing on the house we sold (YAY) tomorrow morning, but instead of going into work after I'm taking the whole day. The HPOA (starting a new term here, not a bf, not a fwb) and I are going to get sushi and drink wine and have a lazy day.
