Dear Mary, Neuner & other Cardinals Fans...
I'm honestly glad the Cardinals beat the Brewers so badly.
If we would've made it to the World Series, Texas would have beat us up quickly and quite embarrassingly. At least you have a chance.
I still love the Brewers, but I think this was for the best!
That is all.

Re: Dear Mary, Neuner & other Cardinals Fans...
I actually did start feeling bad for the Brewers and all those errors. That is not a playoff record one wants to have. It's just playoff inexperience and nerves talking. There are some really great Brewers players on that team - y'all will be back next year. Just try and keep your hands on Fielder, that will be a tough loss. But with with players like Braun and Gomez, you guys will start building some playoff experience and the nerves won't be as bad. And good guys like that need to learn to shut up guys like Morgan. You don't need guys like that giving you a bad rep.
I thought the Beast Mode thing was uber weird at first, but after the announcers told the story about how it started, I think it's cute. And I totally got all warm and fuzzy when Pujols called a time out to extend Fielder's standing ovation at the end. Makes some of those bench-cleaning brawl moments much less significant when you see guys from opposing teams so stuff like that for each other.
It always sucks to lose a games like that at home. I actually felt bad for the crowd there at the end. Except the weird girl they kept showing that was crying. that's a little much.
That turned into a lot of random thoughts, sorry.
I have a feeling that Prince won't be around next year
We just don't have the money to offer him. I'm thinking he'll end up as a DH in the AL somewhere. Unfortunate, but at least Braun will be around for a long time.
Morgan is a little different, most fans like him, but I think he's a little too cocky.
I was a little wigged out by the crying girl too. She got a little too carried away.
I was a little sad for the Brewers- Ryan Braun looked like a sad puppy after the game.
Crying girl was hilarious and excessive- your team is still going to be good next year- it isn't like everyone is leaving.
I hope you guys re-sign Prince and that we re-sign Albert (but not if it requires team ownership).
I hate Nyjer Morgan. He's an @sshole. He played in DC before you guys got him and he was an @sshole here too. I'm shocked that as many people up there like him as they seem to because he was on the first flight out as soon as the Nationals could get rid of his butt.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I'm pretty bummed about the outcome, but honestly, the Brewers played like sh!t during the NLCS. The Cards deserved the win.
I missed crying girl... I'm pretty obsessed when it comes to being a fan as well, but I certainly didn't cry about it! Life goes on!
I'm not sure how I feel about the Prince situation. My boss has this whole scenario laid out as to how we'll keep him, and he makes a good argument, but I'm torn. I don't see him going to an AL team because he wants to play first base everyday, he has said he doesn't want to be a DH. However, money and fame talks. If that's what he's after, he might give up first base.
I like Nyjer Morgan, but he takes his attitude way, way too far. Its okay to be a little cocky, but one really needs to know when to stop. Antagonizing other teams and their fans is ridiculous. He just takes it way to far. Go out there, have some fun and do your job. Eventually, any team that has him will get tired of the drama and ship him off.
