Yay, Hamburg!
My company just hosted a training seminar there to good reviews.
We loved our hotel, a new venue for us this year, the Moevenpick. The service was outstanding and the price was right. It's a super cool building, a renovated water tower that survived WWII. It's right near a pretty hopping area - the Sternschanze.
We had dinner Thursday night in this incredible place. It's an old house... the whole thing was somewhat like being in a pleasant Grimm fairy tale, the staff were weird and wacky and funny, and nice. Superb atmosphere. The food was INCREDIBLE, meat lovers must go. I had oxtail soup and then the best filet mignon I've ever eaten (and I am a long time steak lover) and the sides were all amazing, the creamed spinach was to die for.
Then we drank a lot.
Then I think I gave my business card to a stripper named Imogen.
