Gossip Girl 10/17 *spoilers*
Blair/Louis ~ It is obvious that Charlie/Ivy will be the one to have them all find out about the baby not being Louis'. He seriously cannot trust Blair.
Chuck ~ Again, I feel bad for my love. lol. I am so happy he went to see Lily, I always loved how she treated him like he was her own son. I think when he finds out about the baby, either he will obviously want Blair back or he will be pissed that she didn't think he would be a good father figure and how she lied to him about it. Most likely the 2nd.
Dan ~ I feel for the kid. I always liked him and it must stink to know that now that everyone knows how he really feels about them, they no longer want to be around him, including his own father. Hopefully he can win them back.
I liked seeing Lily's hair down finally. She always has it up most of the time.

Is that what they're implying? That the baby is really Chucks? I find that so unrealistic considering she slept with him once and Louis all summer.. I mean it could happen, but really? Ughhh that makes me so frustrated!! I LOVE her with Louis!
I do feel bad for Chuck though, and I also liked the scene when he went to visit Lily. She's his last chance at a family, and she always welcomes him in with open arms.
I felt bad for Dan too, but I have a feeling that'll blow over quick.. hopefully. I wonder if Serena's boss really will have it made into a movie.

While I understand why Dan's friends and family got upset, I can't help but side-eye all of them, especially Rufus. Dan's a writer- he wrote a story based on real people but the characters were not those people- they just happened to have some of the same personality traits but exaggerated to make good reading. The fact that Rufus actually thinks his son thinks he married Lily for money is ridiculous.
Oh Chuck- so evil yet so loveable. I wanted to cry for him when he expressed to Lily that he's lost Blair. She's the only thing he's ever cared about and he let her go so he wouldn't hurt her. Damn it Chuck- get it together and go win her back!

I keep believing the baby is Chuck's and it will be revealed iva Charlie/Ivy like the OP states.
I'm very glad Dan got his book published, but he should heed what Chuck said about an artist standing alone for the sake of his art. Dan knew the book would have a bad reaction from the people he wrote about (albeit loosely), that's why he tried to stop it before. I did take a little pleasure of Dan telling off Serena about putting the damage control for Blair over her.
I thought the last scene with Lily and Chuck was touching. I hope Chuck gets his act together. I thought it was awkward that Lily didn't hug Chuck, instead of putting her hands on his shoulders, but I guess they didn't want to show that Chuck is shorter than Lily.

I think I understand why Blair would lie though; I don't agree but I get it. Louis is the 'safe' choice and the choice that makes sure that she'll be happy and her baby will be happy. But I want her back with Chuck. I do love how calm down and normal she is these days. Louis really did a lot for her personality.
Poor Dan. Don't they understand it's just a book? I mean, I get them being upset but come on! I did feel bad for Rufus. Serena deserved what Dan told her.
I hope Ivy's story implodes or something because I'm over her.

Blair went to Chuck 2 eps. ago and told him the baby wasn't his. Seemed odd. Then at the end of the ep., she "hid" the DNA test in a drawer. Is everyone sold on the baby being Chuck's, not L's? Did the test say the baby wasn't Chuck's or that the baby wasn't L's? There may be another option.....with the whole "there is nothing btwn us, never will be...." from Blair to Dan, I think there may be a huge twist here.....
Nate getting mad at Dan for not putting him in the book was.....ridiculous.
This was a part of the book they were showing. Also, it was the same moment when they actually kissed except Dan put that she wanted him to have sex with her and that they did. I seriously think the kid is Chuck's, especially now that they show Chuck with the letter from the Dr in his hand. This means Ivy gets it, gives it to Liz Hurley...and then MAYBE Nate sees it and decides to tell Chuck before it goes public? Who knows.
I love when Dan told Serena she must be the same character lol. It was VERY wrong of him to mention that about his dad in the book since he acted that way when they were first together (Rufus and Lily). It shows why Dan refuses to live in the Penthouse and stayed living in Brooklyn. He thinks he is better than all of them.

Have they ever officially said how far along Blair is? I know the seamstress said like 6 weeks. If it is 6 or 8 weeks, then it cannot possibly be Chuck's baby. The timeline just doesn't match up. But then again its Gossip Girl so they don't care about that.
