I'm on my way into work. Another day of videos, YEAH buddy!
Nothing to complain about really besides money. Dh and I finally talked and cleared the air so things are a lot better now. Little guy is getting sick, he's been extremely irritable. I think that's from the change in routine and daycare. He's so clingy from me being home all the time. Poor guy.
Re: Monday Moans
We've been in VA for about a week now and we've been sooo busy. Between unpacking and then spending time with people we haven't seen in a year, or people we just met. Plus his mom and sister came and spent the weekend so H and I haven't spent ANY quality time together.
His family left mid day yesterday, and he spent most of the day playing on his computer in our guest room....didn't want to go to a movie or go do anything so I'm really annoyed. His training starts tomorrow, and today is an errand day and we're going to dinner with another couple so I'm annoyed. I just wanted to have some fun and hang out with him before he doesn't have much time for me.
I started a generic prescription after being on the name brand version for years, and I'm not liking the effects. I wish the name brand version was cheaper because I feel miserable right now. I even took a half day at work, so they had to find a sub for the sub. :-
My other moan is that I won't have a fun weekend this weekend. Saturday I'm stuck at my alma matter for a football game with the inlaws. We have to leave here at 6:30 am, and probably won't get home til late. If it wasn't an all day event I would have been looking forward to it. Or if it was a trip to visit friends I would have been looking forward to it. But that combined with the fact that I have an in person grad class from 9-4 on Sunday (and its 2+ hrs away from me) is making me wish I could skip this weekend completely.
I have to meet with my district's assistant superintendent tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the meeting. I have to do research in my classroom to fully complete my summer class that I took this summer. My district is giving me a lot of trouble about this and making me get approval from the curriculum committee and school board. It is forcing me to work with the university to change my due dates and I may not be able to present at the conference in January.
Its just frustrating because the district was aware of the course, the requirements, everything and didn't tell me until the last minute that I had to jump through so many hoops. If I had known, I would have gotten this ball rolling much sooner!
I got a horrible mosquito (possibly tick) bite a few weeks ago. I went to urgent care and they put me on a super strong antibiotic, because it had become infected within a few days. Since then I have been super achy and fatigued. DH and a few others have been buggine me to get tested for Lyme Disease.
I finally got an appointment and the technician not only poked me 3 times, but dug around all 3 times. It REALLY shouldn't be necessary to dig around for a vein in someone that is fully hydrated. Uggh! Now I have to go back tomorrow to get my blood taken. Thankfully the regular techinician will be there and the few times I've had blood taken it has been fine. The stupid needle sites are already starting to bruise....uggh.
I need to add.
Our cat has fleas. Now mind you our cat is a house cat. So she had to have picked them up from the apartment complex. We have to wait till friday for her to see the vet.
It's been 7 weeks of avid working out and eating healthier. I still have not lost any weight. I have lost two inches off my waist and hips. but the weight remains.
I was in a car accident 3 weeks ago where a 21-year-old guy tried to make a right turn from the left lane without looking and turned right into me. Nobody was hurt and my car is still drivable. He immediately asked if he could pay for it out of pocket, and he didn't have his insurance information on him.
I got an estimate and sent it to him and he responded saying that he didn't have enough money for that, but that he had a friend who would fix my car for me. Um, no. I replied back saying that he needs to give me his insurance information if he can't afford the repair. He just responded and said that "he remembers that it was me who hit him," and that he shouldn't have to pay for it because it was my fault. Freaking liar, trying to get out of paying for the damage he caused. It makes me so angry. What a hassle.
Daisy - hope it goes quickly for you! That was the longest part of my pregnancy was the last few weeks and people kept making it worse by asking me if I was still pregnant and other stupid things like that. Hopefully you don't have to deal with that too much these next 7 or so weeks!
elisha- hopefully you get to figure out if its lyme or not. the sooner they catch it the better. I got it a few years back and they caught it within 3 weeks of my bite and I only have to do 1 round of antibiotics for 3 weeks. Had they caught it later I would have been on antibiotics for longer and had less chance of getting it out of my system.
My moan, other than TN deleting all of this last night when I tried to post it is that time is going to fast! My baby girl is already a week old and back up to birth weight (all good things!) but from here she's going to get bigger and I like her peanut sized. I feel like time is flying by...
