I made this for a co-worker who recently moved w/her boyfriend. the text is "bloom where you are planted" my question is... What do I put in this darn jar? it seems kinda lame to give her an empty jar.
Re: aw: glass etching
It doesn't match the phrase, but I saw a really adorable hot chocolate gift in the same size jar:

it's about 5" high and 16" in circumference. And I only paid $2! Thanks for thinking it looks good, that was my first attempt.
I was actually going to fill w/ cookies... we were going to her house for a party, but with working that morning, and my non existent time management skills, I ran out of time!
I think she is a tea drinker, that could be nice. and what girl doesn't appreciate chocolate! lol
Thanks!

To attempt to match the quote, (and they may be hard to find) but you could buy some cheap seed packets to put in there, maybe a little kit for a herb garden type thing?
Just off the top of my head...
Good job, especially for a first time!
Maybe some flower shaped cookies to go with the "bloom"?
Probably totally dorky but I think it would be cute

White chocolate caramel popcorn:
6 cups caramel corn (can buy at bulk or dollar store for cheap)
300grams white chocolate
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup M&Ms or whatever candy you want to add (or nothing)
Melt chocolate, mix with popcorn and toppings, spread on parchment lined cookie sheet to dry. Break into pieces and marvel at how freaking easy and good it is.
Great idea!

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
