XP from ML: If you have prayers to spare...

http://randycourtneytripproth.blogspot.com/

This little boy, and his family sure deserve them.  Warning: this blog is hard to look at.  The boy has a rare skin disorder.

But sometimes, it's important to step back and see just how good we have it sometimes.

Re: XP from ML: If you have prayers to spare...

  • Wow. I was not expecting pictures like that at all. That is so sad and has to be so hard as a parent to see your child go through that.
  • My heart breaks.  I love looking at medical stuff but while I was looking at the progression photos of Tripp, I started getting sick.  There was only one other time that has happened and that was with my dad.

So sad and I will be praying for them and hugging my baby and thanking the Lord for what he has given me.  The Lord never gives you too much to handle.

  • Wow...you are right in saying that reading their stoty makes you step back and realize how much you have to be thankful...sending prayers their way.  His mommy sounds like she has a fantastic outlook and is doing a fabulous job...how hard though, I had tears reading through the blog and looking at some of the pictures-
  • Oy.

If that doesnt make you stop in your tracks and hug your kids, then i dont know what will.

I will never complain of Owen running like a holy terror around the house, or Ben being up all night. I am truly lucky to have 2 kids who are healthy and thriving. Blessed isnt a word I want to use, because that would imply that God only blesses some and not all - its just luck - a roll of the genetic dice.

I hit the jackpot with my boys, and I will never ever forget that after reading her story. Wow.
