You can pin things already on there to save them. For instance, I have found a ton of recipes that I want to try. I've already tried a few. The things you pin link you to the original website.
Also, there should now be a "Pin it" button on your tool bar. When you are on other websites and you see something you want to remember or save, you can pin it to one of your boards by hitting that button.
It's like an internet cork board.

So whatever you find on the internet you can post to your Pinterest profile?
Yep. Let's say you are looking for a recipe for pumpkin bread. If you find one on some random website, you can pin it to your board. Then you don't have to save some random site you'll never go to again to your favorites just for one recipe. It will be on your board.
I've also done it while looking for ball dresses or hair styles. I save what I like so I can go back to it later.
Yep! I love it because I can track things I want to try or ideas I want to save for later!
I love it for pinning clothes/shoes since I usually check out so many different websites. It's great to have everything in one place, like my own virtual closet.

I tell everyone I can about it!!! I came across Pinterest a few months ago and have over 500 pins. I collect food recipes, clothing ideas, gift and wrapping ideas, crafts, decorations, cute photo pics, quotes etc...
There is really something there for everyone and it's fun to share things with others.
A lot of bloggers have started Pinterest Challenges where you create something inspired by Pinterest and link it so you can see what others have done and they can see what you have done.
