Tuesday Post (not very creative)
Morning, gals.
I forgot my wedding ring today. Pooper scooper. I always feel naked and for some reason sad when I forget my rings. Oh well.
Had an interesting night with G last night...he seemed depressed and upset and said work was horrible yesterday. He was pissy and upset all night and when we got in bed he just let it all out. HE started tearing up and explained how unhappy he was at work right now, he felt like he was not doing his best and that he was scared he was going to get passed over for a raise. He is the hardest worker I know and deserves a 100% raise, and he will be lucky if he gets $.25/hour more. He is nervous and just pointed out everything he did wrong at work. We had a long talk and I hope he is feeling better today, he is a wonderful employee and the ski area is lucky to have him. I told him I would support him looking for work at another ski area, but he doesn't seem to want to do that (we would have to move most likely). Anyway, here is hoping he has a better day today. Poor guy was a wreck.
Today we are going to the bank to meet with them about buying Gerren a new truck. (another thing that is causing him stress. he thinks he has bad credit. he has this fear of money...) hopefully it goes well and we can sell his truck and get him a new one by the end of November.
Other than that, just finishing up on a lot of work today before leaving for LA in the morning.

Last night went so fast. K had fed and bathed Baby Q by the time I got home from work. We ate pizza then left to drop K's truck off for some post-sale service. Ran to the library, came home and read about 40 pages before the words started swimming. Fell asleep before 9.
In somewhat amazing news, Baby Q fell asleep in the car around 6:45 last night. He slept straight through til 5:45 this morning, ate and went back to sleep. He's still sleeping. 13 hours and counting. I'm a little in shock.

I have such acid reflux for the last couple days and it is making me so sick:( Also, I want to be able to sleep in my bed. I haven't slept a full time in my bed since Wednesday or Thursday.
I bought the cutest baby outfit last night. Pants, onies and a little jacket, then I realized it had little ears on the hoodies part and it became 10x cutier. We went to watch MNF and they have Pour till they Score, you get free bud select till on eo fthe teams score. I have never heard so many people cheering for someone not to score.

Last night went straight home (no gym) due to my horrendous cramps. Called DH and told him to watch the F out and please turn on the heating pad. Came home, put jammies on, and proceeded to be a big ball of pain for the next 2 hours. Watched Limitless (so good!) and the drugs finally kicked in. Made dinner, updated eBay listings, and even scrapbooked a little bit.
Haven't worked out since last Friday. Tearing my (stinky) hair out.
Do you know what your baby dr. allows you to take? Pepcid complete works wonders for this GERD nerd...
I think I can take anything OTC I have been eating tums like they are going out of style for months now. The last couple days it has been really bad. I think I may have to try something stronger.
Today is the second day in a row I forgot my wedding rings.

Tuesdays are total buttholes.
Dinner at Las Margs last night with Mom, Lori, Jenn, Debbie and Lil. It was good. But I was cranky because I don't feel great. We came home and watched Sweet Genius and Chopped on DVR. I went upstairs around 10:45.
I slept like crap, up twice to refill my water and once an hour or so to take a drink. Was almost asleep at 11 then MFD came home at 11:20, came up and let the dogs out, then I realized the bathroom skylight was open so I went down to remind him to shut it today, then down again for water, then watched tv for a little, slept for a little, refill water again, then mfd was up at 6:30 to let the dogs out. Finally got up at 7:15. I feel like I didn't sleep a wink.
I always feel worst in the morning and before bed, it makes me very cranky. I am not feeling myself. I had a hard time making it through zumba yesterday so I'm just going to do an even walk on the treadmill today. I am peeved this cold is still coming even after all of my preventative measures.
Tonight is my brother's senior night at HS soccer. I was a senior in HS when he was born. My uncle (a teacher) came into my calculus class to tell me.
Susie Q - I would like 13 hours of sleep. Go baby Q!
Xtine - yikes. Galvescon or Maalox will work better than tums. I also second the Pepcid, but the chewables work the best and they are hard to find.

awww, so sorry!! J just went through this about a month ago. I know for me, it was that much harder b/c J doesn't tend to get so worked up about things, and then to have it be something that I can't fix or help him with is hard too.
i think you're doing the right thing by being supportive, etc. Hopefully things turn around for him either at the current place, or in possibly a new place.

It's cold here this morning. J turned on the heat last night which i didn't realize until this morning. But it must be cold for him to do that b/c he's usually the one that wants to wait as long as possible before turning it on.
STEPH- You were in my dream last night. I've had a lot of weird dreams lately. Don't remember everything but what I do remember is that we were scubadiving and then staying at some house by the beach which ending up being haunted. VERY random I know. Even more weird since we're internet friends and I've never heard you talk, so it makes me wonder now if your voice actually sounds how it sounded in my dream. Yes I'm a freak.
Work is ridiculous. Do you ever have days where you think you work with complete idiots? Today is like that. But it's not my immediate co-workers. Its people that are technically in our department but work in a different building.
In other news, my co-worker just came in and told me they are having a shower for me on 11/9. They wanted it to be a surprise, but realized they couldn't b/c I have so many doctor appt. coming up. I'm really touched and surprised by this. I'd be happy not getting any presents and just having lunch and a big piece of cake.
I do the same thing--on days I do not work out, I do not shower. It is just how I roll. Godbless dry shampoo!
Steph--sorry about getting sick and feeling under the weather. Maybe play hookie tomorrow and just sleep and relax and drink fluids and take dayquil? Dr. Shauni orders it...
Moleson (et al!), thanks for your support, I know he will get through this funk, it is just hard to see him so unhappy. He is so deserving of this raise, he should be making double what he does at LEAST.

I shower every day, but put my hair in a shower cap on days 2 and 3. I use dry shampoo on those days, and after working out I use Redken sea spray so it doesn't smell like feet.
Shauni - I am jammed up tomorrow with meetings. I can take it easy Friday night and Saturday though.
Mary - too weird! My voice sucks, I think I sound nasally like my mom.

Shauni - sorry about G, I'm sure he will make it through! I don't know if you have ever used the service, but annualcreditreport.com will give you each of your 3 credit reports free once a year (no signing up for stuff or "trials" or anything) or if you sign up for Quizzle (free service) you can see your credit report and estimated credit score. Quizzle is amazing I love it. Maybe it will make him feel better to know what his credit/score actually look like, and it will give him time to dispute any errors before going for a bank loan.
Last night was class, today is class and it's cloudy. Boo hiss. On a brighter note I busted out my new sweater poncho today and I think I might be in love!
i ran a CR for each of us last spring before we got married. Mine was really good (I think the mid to high 700s?) and Gerren's was average (like mid to high 600s) so I do not know what he is so worried about. I don't want to run any more bc it looks bad on our credit, and the bank will do it for us for this loan, so I think we should be ok. Gerren just always fears the worst when it comes to money. Like, I want to go buy a router for the computer (we still hardwire in!) but he is like "do we have the $50!?!?" I think he is just used to struggling for so long (all through college and afterward until like a year ago) that he is not used to having extra cash and just assumes things will be awful.

Those are good numbers! I get how he feels, having been in school for 4 years with no income I say things like "can we afford it" all the time. It drives J crazy.
And, I get not wanting to run a bunch of reports - but if you are checking your own score/credit report it doesn't affect your score at all, it's only when 3rd parties check it (banks, credit cards, etc) that it dings you. I'm not trying to push the issue, sometimes it just makes people feel better knowing what they are up against :-)

Last night - watered the lawn & flowers, cooked dinner and after dinner we went over to the IL's. FIL needed DH to help move their old refrigerator and dishwasher out as they are getting new ones today. Hung out with them for a bit and then went home. I was starting to get tired by 9pm and was flustered at James for parking caddywhompus in the driveway, so much that I could barely get out of the garage this morning. I didn't feel like putting up a fight about it last night since I needed to get inside and get into bed.

Shauni, I have a credit score around where yours is, and I was able to qualify for 0% financing with Toyota on our Prius last year. If you can qualify on your credit alone, or as a co-signer for Mr. G, you should be good. If not, try going through a Credit Union instead of the dealer. When I bought my Xterra, I got a rate lower than half of what the dealer was offering me by going through a local CU.
I hope Mr. G gets to feeling better about things. He's lucky to have you there for him. :-)
I have a little brother who's a senior in HS this year, too. He was born when I was 12. It feels so strange to be this old and having a brother still at home. People look at me like I'm crazy when I talk about it.
I remember being so embarrassed having to tell everyone my mom was knocked up at that age. It was mortifying. My poor mom was only 35, but I remember telling her she was too old for a baby and should probably put him up for adoption. I was an awful child.
Ah, Rachel, my mom was 38. I felt the same, even though now I'm 34 and not near having a baby. My youngest brother is a half brother technically and was born amid a shitstorm of insanity. It's a story for the ages but it's all good now. He is a great kid with a truly kind heart and lots of smarts and talent. I cannot believe he's a senior.

I had my last 2-week belly check this morning (every week from now) and holyshitballs how is it that time already? Nurse practitioner is so nice, I wish she could deliver my baby. The doctors are good, too, she's just much more reassuring and warm. Baby is head down, woot woot!
This! Part of me feels like I'm gonna turn around in 7 months and be like "OMG I'M HAVING A BABY! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?" The other part of me can't wait for the 7 months to be over with and feels like it's going to drag.
