Guiliana Rancic on Today show
She has breast cancer! Wow! I am really shocked by this. Obviously she's not pregnant and says she's still going to try after surgery and radiation.

So sad for her. I was really hoping it would be a pregnancy announcement.
I loved their show, yeah she grated on my nerves a few times and the product placements this season KILLED me, but I could related to their fertility struggles.
I feel so sorry for her. She just can't catch a break!
I hated the way Ann Curry kind of spoiled her announcement .."so people probably think you are here to announce your pregnancy but you're not".. or whatever she said. I can't stand her.

She seems like a genuinely nice person. Even when they are doing fashion police, she is always looks embarassed when the others make fun of someone.
Hopefully her recovery is quick.
To be fair, if they chose to announce her cancer on a national morning program, they were probably looking for a dramatic introduction.
I actually thought that was a tasteful way to start it. They left last season with her at the IVF clinic a lot of people assumed the big announcement would be her pregnancy. It saved her from having to say, "well, I'm not pregnant. again." Maybe just because we went through IF and I had to answer people's excited inquires over and over I think they handled it well. Everytime they cut to her in the promo she looked like she was going to cry.

Agreed! I love her and I love her w/ Bill. Ugh. Prayers that she beats this monster!
I love Guiliana and I am devestated for her.....

I agree. I feel bad for her. I know about her fertility struggles and remember her husband Bill from his stint on the Apprentice. I haven't watched her show at all, just Fashion Police.
i can agree with this fo sho. but, she does put her life out there with the reality show...so, not surprising she would announce on national TV
I can see that, but she IS a public figure, and it would've gotten out anyway. If it was me, I would want to be in control of how/when it got announced. Plus, the vibe I got was not "feel sorry for me," but "Hey, I'm young with no family history so this could literally happen to anyone," like she was promoting being vigilant even at a young age...trying to raise awareness.
Bottom line, I'm not going to judge how someone else handles their cancer diagnosis.
