What do you use to clean your refrigerator?

I'm going into our new house tomorrow to start cleaning before we move our stuff in. When I was there yesterday, I looked in the fridge and it was kinda nasty. What do you recommend using to deep clean the inside of the refrigerator/freezer?

Re: What do you use to clean your refrigerator?

  • vinegar - i like using something natural near my food. Maybe a bit of lemon juice.

If that won't do the trick you could use something more industrial but I really prefer natural. Baking soda and vinegar together are great.

  • I use my regular all-purpose cleaner that I make myself.

50/50 vinegar/water + a few squirts of soap and 20-30 drops of essential oils. Smells great, cleans really well, and I feel better about it being natural around food :)
