Confession

So, the weekend of the GTG, I had posted that I went to a concert on Saturday night. And I went to... wait for it... Hanson. Yes, they still release CDs and tour.

Anyway, this morning they did an acoustic set on VH1, which I recorded on my DVR and I love it. It's really not normal to still love Hanson... I went to their MmmBop tour 14 years ago. And I have seen them 4 times in the last 3 years.

If google chrome would let me do the blushy face, then I would post it here.

Guilty pleasure, I guess. Since I was 12. lol

Re: Confession

  • Oh my.

I don't know that I will ever look at you the same again.

    J/K. Cute confession!

  • Hahaha I know, everyone thinks I'm crazy.

But they have some serious fangirls. My friend and I go and have a couple drinks and usually the tickets aren't more then $20-30 so it's a fun night out. But there are girls there with Hanson tattoos! And they scream and cry and just generally lose their sh!t like it's 1997.

  • I've heard they put on a really good show, actually. And I've heard about the crazy Hanson fans. People be creepy.  I was too old for them, but I still do the a*s dance when I hear Mmm-bop.

And I won't judge you, since I was the girl who pouted all night when she missed NKOTBSBWTFBBQ back in June.  And here's my confession - not only am I still p*ssed off about it, I haven't spoken to the girl who blew me off since. We've been friends for 15 years, and she's done way worse things, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Haha thanks for not judging. They are actually great and if it weren't for their fangirls I could totally talk DH into coming with us because he loves live music. But alas, he would never forgive me if he came and saw the kind of scene it is.

I remember your NKOTBSB situation. That is super sh!tty.

lol.  My sisters were obsessed with Hanson but I never got into it.  I did hear that album a LOT the first summer it came out.

  • Lady E I love you!
