On at least 4 occasions I have not received something sent by USPS. Has anyone else had trouble with them? I hollered at the guy behind the counter, but that didn't get me anywhere. I want my stuff!
Re: USPS issues?
Us too. We've lost books, dvd's and movie posters (one worth $$$) that e-bay sellers have sent through USPS and we never recieve. We thought it was a fluke at first, but after that 3rd or 4th package missing we suspect it's our mail carrier or post office. There's nothing we can do about it, we tried.
back in VT they refused to deliver my SIL's mail after she bought our house (we had moved a full year before) because she had the same last name as was on our fwd order. It took 2 months of yelling at them to get it taken care of. Total BS.
YES!!
Out of 8 things I shipped once, 3 never made it to final destination, 3 packages!! So, I reshipped one of them again - guess what, I insured it this time, and surprise - it didnt make it either!
So, from now on, I ship with confirmation, and insurance. Its pretty redic.
yes - I love it when I pay for delivery confirmation and then there is no scan at the end.
The problems have gotten worse over the least 3-4 years imo
In my experience, signature confirmation and insurance are kind of pointless through them as well. It's nearly impossible to collect or argue it not making it still.
::knocks on wood::
Luckily, I haven't had any trouble when mailing packages [yet].
A few months ago, though, a customer said she was going to mail me a check for a deposit and because I've worked with her many times, knew she was very reliable and timely with payments, so when I didn't receive it after a week or two, I made sure she still wanted to do the session, etc. She did, and said she had mailed the check when she said she was going to - from the post office that is, no lie, 6 blocks from my house. Ha!
