Ok, its not even over, BUT
I can't believe that Nicole sent home the group 4Shore! I liked them.
I liked all of LA Reids choices for boys.
I'm horrified that Simon has to pick between Melanie Amaro and Rachel Crow. I love them both.

Re: X-Factor *spoilers*
Wait...isn't Paula on groups? I honestly can't even distinguish the groups from one another.
I don't like some of Nicole's decisions. She shouldn't have sent home Tiger or that one other guy. I love Dexter but he didn't deserve to move on.
I can't believe Simon sent home the rugby girl. She was fantastic and unique.
He did. I just got done crying.
I don't know how this show works, but isn't it unfair that Simon got five picks (is he competing with the other judges)?
Having said that,Melanie did deserve a chance.
Its his show. I'm pretty sure he can do what ever the heck he wants.
For some reason Melanie Amaro annoys me. I can't put my finger on why because she's a great singer. I was glad he picked Rachel over her, then felt bittersweet when he drove to her house because although she gets on my nerves I do think she deserves the chance. When he said he made a mistake I knew he was talking about her.
I was bummed out that Nick Voss didn't make the cut. I liked him. I also liked The Anser. But for the most part I do think the top 17 are the ones most deserving. Now let's bring on the real competition!
I know! That pissed me off the most - they were so good! Paula is a moron.
Yes! I did mean Paula when I said Nicole. Clearly, Paula's horrific pants also impacted my memory.
Overall, I think they have an excellent top 17. I think the other judges probably agreed with Simon in bringing Melanie into the top, they all loved her from the start too. Vocally, I'm sure many would agree she IS the best singer - others just have more interesting stories, attitudes, etc.
Melanie could very well end up being a Pia Toscano who gets boring and goes home 'early'.
I was surprised Nicole kept both Dexter and Leroy; it seemed strange to me. I mean, I liked them, but I probably only would have kept one of them and then also kept either Tiger or Elaine.
I loved all of LA Reid's choices.
I think the James Brown guy sucks. I cant believe he got to stay. Yes, he is interesting, but I cant imagine him selling platinum records.
I feel like every person was practically unemployed, going to lose their house, needing this break so bad.... where are all the regular people? cant they sing? no doctors or teachers? (and I know a lot of people are having a rough time, but proportionally, there should be someone that is getting by)
I also think each judge getting 4 people was stupid with the groups they had. Almost all the girls were better than almost all the over 30s. It made sense that Simon got 5 spots, but truly - he should have got 8 spots.
I'm so glad Simon went back and got Melanie. Her voice is amazing, and I was shocked when he first sent her home.
I seem to be the only one, but I'm not a Rachel fan...at all. I think she's annoying (there! I said it, lol) and not as good as some of the others like the rugby chick who got cut. It doesn't surprise me though. I figured they'd put Rachel through because she's young and cute.
I like all of the boys who were chosen and I'm indifferent on the groups.
I was really hoping Dexter would get sent home. I thought his last performance was awkward. But yay for burrito guy and 60 year old man!
Yes - me too! WTF? This is a singing competition, not a charity. You know he'd have all kinds of offers after he got kicked off since everyone now knows he is homeless.
I like burrito guy (and that they refer to him as a burrito maker...lol) and 60 y.o. guy too!
I agree with this.
I also agree with Nicole's choice to boot Tiger, but she should have NOT kept Dexter.
This is what I am mad about:
1. Dexter is not good at all
2. I do not like Simone and the girl with the red lipstick that only Simon liked (can't remember her name). The Rugby coach Caitlin got robbed, I think she has an amazing voice!
3. 4 Shore should of made it through, I don't know what Paula was thinking!
I wish we actually knew their resoning for putting people through or sending them home. I only totally agree with LA's choices and frankly I think he is the only one who knows who the real stars are. Since Caitlin got sent home, my favorite that is left is Drew.
Wait...I completely take back what I said about liking all of the males chosen.
I forgot about that Chris Rene guy...not a fan and I'm in the minority again, lol. I don't like his singing, and he reminds me of my SIL's ex-boyfriends.
I agree. The singing was all over the place and the dancing was so awkward! I liked the look on Enrique's face when he did this little number.
Edit: Nevermind. I can't get PIP to work tonight. It was the scene where Dexter put his foot on the table.
Ooh I agree with you - Simone and Tia (?) I thought Simone was a b!tch through most of the process, so I'm surprised he kept her, although maybe he liked her personality? Who knows!!
