GTG clickly: carpooling

In Jennlin's[1] clicky a lot of people said they don't drive or don't like driving or have to take the ferry or whatnot. So I thought I'd see how many people are willing to help out.

[1] I double checked to make sure it wasn't husky this time Surprise

Re: GTG clickly: carpooling

  • This is probably a dumb question (and I'm to lazy to google) - but where do the ferries come in at?

  • Really, it depends on where the carpooling needs are and where the GTG is. I live in Renton, so if I had to go severely out of my way to grab someone, then I wouldn't, but if it were sort of on my way, then I'm totally willing to help.

  • I would definitely be up for it. If the person lived close to me or on my way. I hate hate hate having to drive across the bridge into Seattle though. I wouldn't mind letting someone else drive my car to do it!

This!  I'm up north, so if someone else wanted to ride together to go somewhere farther south, I'd be up for that.  And now that we own a non-stick-shift car, I'd even be willing to drive into downtown!  (Since I'm afraid to drive our stick-shift on those stinkin' hills!)

The ferries come in at Coleman dock which is at Marion and Alaska Way.
