Hello everyone!
I'd like to join you ladies here. I am a mom to a happy chappy son who just turned 1 year old. I work full time for a high tech company. In my spare time, I love being social and hang out with friends, baking, sewing and art projects and I am very involved with my church.
My stbxh has filed for divorce. He could not accept me for who I am and chose to walk away from a beautiful family. I am thankful that he very much still wants to be in my son's life. My son is very blessed that so many people love him and that is the best thing for him.
I immediately got help (both professionally and close friends) when stbxh told me out of the blue that he never loved me. My helps have been a lifesaver and I am continuing on the path to healthy living and never want to go back to the way I was before. I think my desire to go straight for help stems from surviving things that were far worse than my divorce and knowing that I had to change to have a better life.
I am thankful there is a board made for us who are starting over. I look forward to meeting you all.
