I honestly will be surprised if my grandparents are not one of these stories.
They got married when she was 14 and he was 16 (that is what poor farming people did then). They have been married 63 years now. Both terribly sick but both also seem to be holding on for the other's sake.

I feel the exact same way about ours! My gma was 13 and my gpa was 15 when they married in Argentina. They have been married 52 years and they are 100% there for each other all day every day.
I couldn't make it half way through reading this without the tears. That's real love!
So very sweet.
My grandma died after a massive stroke at the same hospital that my grandfather was at.
He was wheeled into her room to say goodbye before they took her off life support.
It was so sad. I had never seen my grandfather break down and cry like that before. They would of been married 70 years that summer.
