Parenthood 10/18
I was kind of disappointed with this episode. I really don't want Sarah to mess up things with Mark, and it's hard for me to believe that Julia and Joel would move forward with this adoption without drawing up some papers or SOMEthing. I mean, she's a lawyer.
But while I think that Julia and Joel giving Seth money for rehab is a stupid idea, Joel's speech to Zeek was great. This is why Joel needs more lines!
Drew's kiss was cute.

I would not have acted like Hattie at that age... she should be helping her mom out instead of lazing around.
I love John Corbett, I'm so glad he's back but I don't want anything to mess up Sarah & Mark's relationship.

I agree, last night's episode really annoyed me. Sarah's behavior was ridiculous. It screamed of co-dependency and she clearly has some issues to work out. Al-Anon would do wonders for her (if she were a real person anyways
). It drove me crazy that now that Seth wants to get help, she felt it was her problem and went through all that trouble finding somewhere and looking to her family to financially support him. I totally agreed with Zeke on that. I really don't think I like the way this is all going to play out, and think it will cost her the relationship with Mark in the end. I gotta be honest, I'd be seeing red flags right now if I were him. She couldn't even mention his name without looking like she was about to burst into tears.
However, I did love when Joel spoke up to Zeke. I thought it was awesome and loved how he defended the girls without being disrespectful.
I pretty much agree with what's been said so far re: Sarah. I think she's gonna get in too deep with helping out Seth and she's gonna lose Mark because of it.
But, Joel's speech was awesome! It was really well delivered.
I hope the baby thing goes well for Julia & Joel, but I just forsee something crazy coming up and it not working out.
I love that Drew is getting any lines at all! I love his interactions with Amy, and his asking Amber for help
I'm not that upset with Hattie. She is super busy with school and activities and her life just changed big time too, and I think it's okay that she isn't all rainbows and puppies about having a newborn sister as she is heading off to college. It's realistic, I think.
It almost seemed like Julia wasn't seeing straight about the adoption and got so swept up with "yay! baby!" that maybe this will be an opportunity to put their legal plan in place. I don't remember them setting up to pay her medical bills, so maybe they are just skipping a lot of that story. Because I sort of fear that the mom is going to change her mind at the hospital.
I agree that Sarah needs Al Anon. Bad.
Joel: awesome.
Sarah: The situation with Joel will soct her relationship with Mark.
Julia/Joel: I still predict Julia is pregnant or will be pregnant soon. Then, they will adopt the baby or the adoption will fall through and they find out they are pregnant.
Drew: so cute!
I'm watching now. I agree with everything that has been said.
I also would like to add that I love Piece of my Heart and CeeLo's soul version gave me chills.

Totally. I think her reaction is realistic, although is the Alex story line really over? She really dealt with the collapse of her first "adult" relationship in one episode? I love Michael B. Jordan so I hope he'll be back.
