Literally.
Monday I started feeling run down but I just assumed it was due to early pregnancy. I had a photo session scheduled later in the day at a pumpkin patch and I really thought I would be able to pull it together and get the shoot done. Nope. Ha. I become super ill, puked a few times and then passed out. I was so effin out of it. I had the goose bumps and I was achey all over. The people I did the session with insisted they drive me home even though I protested (which probably was a good thing). I got home and could barely walk to the bed. Oh my god, I have never felt that bad in my life.
I took my temp and it was 102.10. I called the doctor and basically they said there was nothing that could be done, just take some tylenol and if my fever didn't drop to under 100.4 by the morning I needed to go to the hospital. A fever this early on in pregnancy is not good at all for the baby. Luckily, my fever dropped to around 99.6-100.2 yesterday so that's good news.
I am not sure what I had. I am feeling MUCH better today but still super run down. I am guessing if it was the flu I would still be sick so I am guessing a quick moving virus? I was suppose to fly out to Orlando today but I ended up postponing my trip.
But now I am worried about the fever and the baby. I started to do research on the internet but I stopped reading once I started reading all the health risks the baby might suffer. I am sure everything will be ok, but it will definitely be in the back of my mind.

Re: I thought I was going to die.
Oh that suuucks
I'm positive your baby is fine in there, so I definately suggest staying away from google when it comes to that stuff. There's no need to freak yourself out needlessly. So glad to hear you are feeling better!!
I felt awful and sick yesterday too. I at badly yesterday (salt n vinegar chips, a little Coke, a little chocolate and onions and peppers on my sandwich). When I took a nap (3 hours after I ate, I thought I was safe) I woke up choking on reflux. It wouldn't stop coming up and it burned like crazy fire. I couldn't catch my breath and ended up bawling on my couch. H talked me down and got me relaxed and it was good practice for him for delivery day but now he's nervous. I'm planning on no epidural and he's worrying I might need one since I cried last night and it wasn't even labor. Ugh, it just sucks to feel sick
Ha, I remember those days. Heartburn sucks!
And good luck to you with the natural birth. My hat goes off to you
Had I had the chance for a natural birth I was going to *attempt* a natural birth too.

Holy scary!!! I am glad you are ok!! Yes stay off the internet with medical issues...you will only freak yourself out!
There has been some nasty stomach stuff going around! I hate that you have to postpone your trip to Orlando! I was looking forward to having an assistant on Sunday:) Hope you are feeling better!
