so, i am finally having nasal surgery tomorrow. i am super nervous and am NOT looking forward to the next several days. i pray the pain is not as bad as i am making it out to be in my head. if y'all could keep me in your thoughts and prayers for the next several days, i would be eternally grateful. also for my dh -- as this is the first major surgery i have had and i hope that i am a good patient for him.
Re: i could use some prayers
prayers for you!!
what kind of sinus surgery are you having? i had mine done in high school, and it wasn't bad at all, minus a few things afterward that were more annoying than anything

I had this done back in 2008. The first few days were pretty miserable, but they passed quickly. And it was SOOOO worth it!! I can breathe so much better now, and I haven't had a sinus infection since then (::knocks on wood::). I used to get one just about every other month.
T&Ps headed your way - you will be fine!!!
gotcha! i had to get my upper sinuses fixed (the ones above your eyes, not under).
ditto sam, hopefully they give you some good drugs! my mama was all "nah, she'll be fine", and made me just take ibuprofen.

yep! got some percocet!! woo hoo. i have all this other crap to take as well. super fun. i am sooooo looking forward to breathing. i can't remember the last time i was able to breathe out of both nostrils at the same time.
@lauren - i get sinus infections every other month and they last for about 3.5 - 4 weeks each. i have one right now...just not telling anyone because i don't want to postpone surgery.

Great minds...
Good luck, Noelle!!!
Call me Kat =^..^=
I got sick right before mine, too. If they wanted to wait for a time when I was 100% "well" then I never would have gotten to have the surgery!!! The first few days really sucked, but by about 12 days out, I was a brand new woman. I couldn't take any good drugs because most of them make me puke, but I was pretty much fine with ibuprofen. Good luck!!!
