Pest Control Pricing ?
I'm getting ready to sign a new lease that requires us to pay for flea and tick extermination for the apartment upon move out because we have a dog.
a) Is this normal?
b) How much does this generally cost? I called a couple of places and it seems a little high considering there would never be an infestation because I use flea and tick preventatives for my dog.

I have never heard of this.
Have you asked the office if you can provide proof of preventatives and that it be waived? Could you ask someone who lives in the building with animals?

I asked if we could provide evidence of preventatives instead.
We don't know anyone who lives there now.
Just seemed odd.
