So.... SIL actually thanked MH on Fb (so that makes it official, right?
). I think the world may come to an end, since that rarely happens in a sincere way. I know that she will never understand the impact that using MH as her "surrogate husband" will have on me and any children MH and I have, but it's at least an acknowledgment that her brother goes out of his way to be there for her.
There may be hope for her yet.
(We'll see if she charges him for the next toothbrush he gets out of her extreme couponing efforts.)

That's good! You think she saw your FB status and thought do write something or is she that clueless that you know it's completely sincere?
It sounds like your SIL is like a MIL when it comes to your DH. Hopefully, your DH will slowly make some strides so it isn't a complete cut off when you have a child. It does take time though. My DH has come a LONG way, but it still amazes me sometimes what he'll do for her.
Hope your flu vax rxn is a little better today!
She *may* have seen my FB status (if she notices me when she doesn't need something from me). Her apology was not posted until the morning, but I think it was probably at least sincere even if it required my status to "nudge" her in the right direction.
As for my flu vaccine reaction-- no headache today! Yay!
I'm glad your SIL acknowledged what Wayne does for her, even if your FB did nudge her. She is lucky to have such a helpful and loyal brother! It's going to be a shock for her when you have kids of your own and Wayne doesn't have as much time to help her out.
I'm also glad your headache was gone today. Having a reaction to an annual vaccine must get old fast.
