Re: *SCB*

  • Yes.

There are two versions to this seat. One harnesses to 40lbs and one to 50lbs. The 50lb version is better, but the 40lb version is pretty useless. This is often the one found at Sam's and Costco for cheap. The harness it outgrown early on, usually around the age of 3-3.5 years, but sometimes even earlier. My friend's LO outgrew it at 2.5, so she had to buy another seat.

It is also hard to install, and is rated as one of the Top 10 Worst Booster seats.

There are something like 11 versions of this seat or something, and one is the Eddie Bauer.

Here is the new listings for 2011...

    and 2010:

Also, if you check on carseat.org there are lots of posts about it. I just don't have time to link because I am going to be heading out to dinner.

  • Great...this is probably the one we got (at Sams of course). It was the one we picked at BRU and happened to see it at Sams so we got it. I can't say I love it but I'm pretty sure I just hate the whole convertible seat in general. I have to take it out of my car every Mon and Fri and this is a major pain in my assss. I'll have to see if it's the 40 or 50 lb one.
