I just know that we have some orginizations in Houston that can help her. I just don't know of any.

Such a sad situation. My heart breaks for her.
And hard for those reading who might want to say, "I'd adopt your baby!" but don't because it might come off as too opportunistic.

I just said a prayer for her and her son. It breaks my heart to hear her story. I wil let her know on the other board about the TCH medical program .

1st pregnancy: BFP- 6/28/09 - Found out we lost our little girl on 10/9/09 at 19w 4d - D&E- 10/14/09
June 2010, corrective surgery for Septate Uterus and large fibroids
2nd pregnancy: BFP- 10/18/10 - Slow rising, non-doubling HCGs, no heart beat. Non-viable pregnancy, D&C- 11/12/10
Started Metformin 6/30/11, Started Clomid 7/20/11 - Unsuccessful
HSG and Laparoscopic surgery revealed blocked tubes and lots of scar tissue...IVF here we come!!!
Surprise BFP naturally!!! IT'S A BOY!!!
Thank you ladies so much, today was long and I had some success with a few things so I will fill everyone in when I get a chance tomorrow, as for now my little guy is asleep so I'm going to capitalize on that and go to sleep myself.

My heart breaks for everything you're going through. I'm praying for you & hope you get the assistance you need to keep your precious baby. I admire you for realizing the best thing for him might be adoption, but I pray that's not the case & you get to keep your little guy.

I know there were a lot of resourcecs posted I hope that you can take advantage of some of them!
I live inside the loop and I do have a car so I have reliable transportation. I went to college but didn't finish my degree, I had to leave becuse of medical reasons but was majoring in interntational business relations.
Right now I am basically a lowly secretary with NO benefits, not great pay, and not a great work place overall.
I'm smart and hardworking, proficient in microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, millenium and a few other random systems. I've been sending my resume to so many jobs on craigslist but I know they probably receive a thousand things a day and might not be looking at mine, or I might not have the right qualifications, if anyone knows of somewhere hiring - PLEASE let me know. I'm smart and I learn quickly.
And I did have an appointment with some doctors and I'm feeling better about my situation, like there is hope for me and my son to be together... it's so difficult as I just want what is best for him, but I really deep down think that is with me. I hope and pray that I can come up with some sort of plan to get this to work out.
And thank you again for all your support, it's really been a blessing and helped me to help myself (and my son).
I'm so glad you're feeling more positive today. Your core feelings of him being best off with you is probably right on. Your love and care makes you the best mom in the world and I have no doubt that he knows it.
Have you looked into any of the assistance programs?

Come back here often as girls will post jobs from time to time that are open in their business. Have you looked at working in a school district?
Have you tried using an employment agency or a recruiter? I don't have any specific recs, but someone else might have some. I don't think you'd be able to find a job in a school district that way, but you may be able to find a better paying job that uses your education and gets you some experience in your field.
