GTG Surprise PIPs
The ladies who attended lunch on Saturday had an extra little surprise

I found out the day before Alexi's birthday and tried to keep it a secret until the morning of his birthday, but couldn't. I told him that evening. I tried to tell him by arranging the magnets on our fridge to read due June 2012, but we were short on letters/numbers thanks to Miss Mariela, so I made do. I arranged the letters RIGHT in front of him and he happened to be cooking dinner that night. He was clueless. He went in and out of the fridge a few times and walked by it a half dozen or so times and noticed nothing. Then he came up behind me to give me a hug and rubbed my belly and said, "there could be a baby in there, have you tested yet?" I turned around with a big smile on my face and asked him if he'd seen the fridge yet. He knew by my smile I'd tested and started saying, "You're pregnant! REALLY?" over and over and then he saw the fridge. He gave me a big hug and cried. Flat out cried. He didn't cry when we found out M was on the way! He said it was because he now knows what it truly means. Then of course, M wanted in on our hug so we had a group hug and the three of use went upstairs to see the evidence (pee sticks) and then we sat in M's nursery and day dreamed a bit while she played before eating dinner. (That's a Mom magnet 3 of my coworkers gave me when they visited me in the hospital when M was born.)
Today was our first appointment. I'm confirmed 6 1/2 weeks due June 10th. We got an unexpected u/s and baby looks perfect. The heartbeat was 120 fetal pole and yolk sac are right on track.

That was very strategic.
I was very nervous for my appointment today.
It was such an AWESOME surprise! I saw little M and I couldn't keep my mouth shut, I had to ask if the shirt meant what I thought it did! So exciting!
Even though I already knew the story, just reading it here gave me goosebumps again!! So happy for you, Heather!!
