Ughhh! I of course value human life more than anything, but stiiiillll it makes me so sad, the thought of those poor, poor animals (majestic animals!) being taken into some idiot's care to begin with (wth?) and then being destroyed.
Unnecessary. The whole thing. :-(
Re: Ohio animals=Sad :,-(
My inital thought when I saw this article this morning was to google how far Zanesville is from Cleveland to make sure there weren't going to be any crazy animals running through my yard. It's way far
It's really sad that there was nothing else that could be done with the animals. And it breaks my heart that there were 18 Bengal tigers. That's like 5% of the worlds population of them. (Ok so maybe I'm exaggerating, but it's not a high number)
I didn't know that Ohio was lax on the wild animal regulations. I'm not a crazy PETA person, but I see no reason for animals like that to be kept as pets. Zoos- ok, personal collection- not. I would support anything that bans people from having them.
Ohio is pretty lax about these things. I hear of stories frequently on the news about people like this.
Lexi--Isn't there a guy around Youngstown that is always on the news?
Our state clearly needs to get its act together. My feeling is that if Jack Hanna, the best animal guy out there, says that it is the best thing, then I trust him.
