stainless steel kitchen sink cleaning tips?
I used soft scrub and it still looks kinda dingy with little water spots (we have hard water). Any other ideas? I have SOS pads, but it does not say I can use them on the sink.
I want it to look model-home sparkly for a party this weekend since lots of guests will be in the kitchen for the buffet.
TIA!
Re: stainless steel kitchen sink cleaning tips?
Soak hard water with vinegar. Just take a paper towel, soak it in vinegar, try to cover it with a plastic bag (if possible) and let it sit overnight.
After that, make a paste of lemon juice and salt and scrub onto any other stains, let it sit an hour or so and rinse.
This! Miracle product!!! when you are done scrubbing, dry out the sink, it will look perfect for your friends. You can also buy it at Target/Walmart.
Yes!!! Bar Keeper's Friend is the answer! It will sparkle and shine! I usually create a paste, let it set a couple minutes, and then wipe off with a sponge. Works for your grease catcher plates for your stove-top elements too!! I get mine at Walmart, have seen it at Albertsons too, you will never use anything else again, it will look like new! Here's some links to help steer you in the right direction!
