And I just found out my brother is coming with my mom when she visits next month, I'm so excited to see him. He's a Blackhawk pilot in the army and often when I'm home he's in Afghanistan, I haven't seen him in a year. He's never been to Europe besides Germany or Ireland while transferring to Afghanistan, we can't way to show him around.
I have class until 4 today, going to the gym and then picking up a few groceries. Homework tonight 
. I'm very excited for the weekend, this week has been stressful, full of presentations, papers and tests.
QOTD: Cheetahs or lions, I love cats and I'm always amazed by how the "big cats" have the same quirks as domestic cats, like laying in the sun and cleaning themselves constantly.

Thanks for the bday wishes! H is taking me out to eat at an italian restaurant tonight as an early bday dinner since we have guests coming over tomorrow. Agh! We really have to clean today and tomorrow!
QOTD: I love wild cats too but I suppose tigers are some of my favorites or maybe lions! I do love to see a cheetah run though, stunning.
Good morning. Standard day at work for me and then we're going for our first swimming lesson. I know how to swim basically, but we're trying to do more swimming for exercise, so thought a few lessons would help us out.
QOTD: I also love big cats, but it's hard to narrow it down from there. Tigers, lions, leopards - I like them all. They act so much like house cats, it's so funny to see.

Morning everyone! I'm looking forward to the end of this week. We have not been as good as we should have with unpacking and getting back to normal life (i.e., cooking and gym) and I think it's partially a result of getting home at 10pm on Sunday night and missing suitcases which we didn't get until Tuesday. We just went straight to work and I have been really tired since getting back. I think we need to regroup and get things back on track this weekend.
QOTD: Giraffes. Ever since my first safari I just fell in love with them. They aren't as scared of predators as some other animals, so they don't run as easily as some others and actually seem a bit curious and will let you gawk and obligingly pose for pics. When they do run, it's such an odd sight because they manage to be both gangly and graceful at the same time. They're just really unique, too.
Good morning! I am in a super mood today because this is my last day of work before heading to Paris tomorrow for 4 days

On that note, I've been to Paris twice but the boy has never been. What are must sees for a first timer. I figure Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame and we'll probably head to Versailles. Anything I'm missing?
Aaaallllllssssssoooooo, I'm in a good mood because as of this morning I weigh 166.2 (almost 165!). I have never weighed this little. Please expect massive AWing if and when I get to 50lbs lost.

Today is a regular day, just work and then working out. I have a farewell dinner for a coworker tonight. It should be good to hang with our company people and enjoy a new Indian restaurant. The food is so good there - this will be my 3rd time having it! But, I am exhausted today. There's been something for us in the evening Tues, Wed and Thurs. I just want to relax on Friday and be completely antisocial. Hang around on the couch and watch movies. I can't wait for the weekend!
QOTD: We recently went to a zoo where Limurs kinda walk around freely in their area, they were cute :-) Kind like monkeys, racoons, and cats mixed together. Very curious animals, one even jumped on DH's shoulder and we got a pic!

Morning! Today I'm doing some cleaning and going to a La Leche League meeting this afternoon. I'm very excited to meet some BFing moms in my area that I can connect with...I'm hoping to BF babymadrid and I'd like all the help/support I can get.

I got up before dawn for a marathon of conference calls...then skipped my workout and went back to sleep. I hope to fit in a bike ride and/or yoga later, but we'll see. I'm pretty beat. No night meetings today, so that is awesome. I will probably spend some time cooking, H brought home a ton of produce yesterday so now I need to figure out what to do with it all.

Not too much going on here today, trying hard to get over my cold- it turns out that colds are even more miserable when you're pregnant. I'm feeling better today, so I might work on some ironing and packing. We're FINALLY moving into our new house in about a month. I have to get better, because there is so much to prepare.
QOTW: I have a hard time picking among mamals. I was going to say all furry creatures, but elephants, dolphins and whales aren't furry and I love them too.

H and I went out to dinner last night at our local pub. It was fun, but he cracks me up because the guy is just not very good at compliments. Our conversation went like this:
