DH has decided to extend his time in Germany and will be filling out the command sponsorship paper work while he is deployed. So it looks like I'll be moving in the very near future, if everything goes accordingly. I guess its time to start downsizing, I don't know where to start.
Re: Germany
Most of the things I have get used or have sentimental value. I usually go through a huge cleaning frenzy every 6 months or so and get rid of items or cloths that dont get used. I guess I could start with my books and go from there.
Truth. OP, moving overseas doesn't require that you leave your life behind you in America. There are adaptors/transformers to use in Germany and at the minimum you'll be there a year (your DHs DEROS is mandatorily extended a year when he command sponsors a dep.) So you'll want to be comfortable and have your things.
