F/U question re:slipcover for nursery
Alright, thanks for everyone who chimed in on my previous post! Looks like the brown or blue is the way to go. But DH brought up two points that I hadn't considered, so I need feedback one more time!
So-Re: the brown:
1) We have a monkey throw pillow for the chair (it's the shape of the monkey head from the accessories I have) and it's brown. Also, in the corner across from where the chair will sit, I have a huge plush palm tree (like, the height of the room) that has a brown trunk and green branches. So, does the pillow bother you? Will it look like two brown "corners" if one has the palm tree and other has the chair? Does this make you lean more toward the blue?
And re: the blue
2) We currently own a blue rug that we were going to put in there, but I don't think the blue chair on blue rug will look good. Right? So if we go with blue for the brown reasons above, I need a new rug. Color suggestions?
I think I am totally over-analyzing this btw.

But I would probably do the brown chair since it would hide stains / dirt more.

Yeah, definitely a typical flaw of mine unfortunately.
When you say blue do you mean the denim? I don't think I commented on your original post, but that's the one I would chose for sure. Denim is a neutral and so basically it goes with anything, so I think the rug would be fine (but I'd have to see it to be sure).
Its easier to replace/do away with a throw pillow than a rug.
And one thing my sister told me is that, since she's had a baby, she could care less about decor. Really, once you have the kid I don't think you'll care.
