Gaddafi Has Been Captured
Reuters is reporting he was captured and is injured. The NY Times is reporting he's dead.
ETA: Reuters just confirmed his death as well.

Though, I do have to say, I feel great for the people of Libya who are liberated from this dictator. But, as I've watched each of these guys fall in turn and even as bin Laden was captured and killed. I can't help but think that these men were somebody's babies once upon a time.
I mean, can you imagine Ghaddafi's mom looking at her little newborn baby, then watching what he grew up to become? I wonder if she agreed with him or if she was disappointed in him. Same goes for all the others. I totally understand the Libyan's desire to celebrate this - they worked really hard and fought and died to get their country back. But still, something about celebrating a death like this rubs me the wrong way a little. I feel like mourning the fact that he went so wrong somewhere along the line in the first place.
I agree Mel, it is really hard to think about.
I am happy for Lybia, I hope that they get the government they want and deserve. I am glad that he isn't in power any more... That is something amazing.
I hear ya, Mel. I look at my DD and pray that she grows to be a kind, responsible, sensible, giving adult. And I know that example has to start with me.
